We do have a small chest freezer to use if you are staying at the lodge however it is not large enough to store most of the animals that are on the ranch. It is recommended to bring a few coolers and ice with you to cool and store the meat that's harvested. Do not put the meat directly on ice/water and make sure it is cooled immediately to prevent any meat degradation.
After a successful hunt, your guide will gut, skin, and quarter (GSQ) your animal for the fee listed for that species. Additional meat processing can be requested for an additional $150-$300.
The hide can be scraped, salted, tanned, and shipped out to any tannery if you choose to do so. Hide must be prepped the same day the animal was harvested for a successful tan. K and K tannery does great work and accepts hides from all hunters.
If you choose to use a meat processor, call ahead to see if they have space available in their freezer and are open the day you want to drop off.
For mounts, you have the option for a European style mount done at the ranch for an additional $200-$500 and shipped to you at a later date. Or you can request the names of some local taxidermists the ranch works with.
